Making Rash Judgments - BAD MISTAKE!

Several years ago, we were in a group setting of about 30 couples.

As such, we were paired up with one other couple.   I had sort of picked out who I was hoping to be paired with.  When we were shown our couple, I was disheartened and felt a little sad.

OH, BOY, IF ONLY I WOULDN'T BE SO JUDGMENTAL on first impressions!

Because you see, we won THE GOLD MEDAL of couples!

We hit the million dollar JACKPOT!

We won the LOTTERY of LOTTERIES.

In other words, Heavenly Father blessed us.  I definitely see the hand of the Lord in what happened that August in 2010.

We spent a memorable year as next door apartment neighbors in China.  A few years ago, they came to visit us in St. George.  It was an adventure.

And, next week, they will be visiting us here in Val-Des-Lac, Quebec, Canada.

During the year we were together, I learned to love and appreciate both Ruth and Chye.  They are extremely bright, fun, thoughtful, and smart.  It's a joy to be around them.

So, maybe I can learn over time, NOT TO MAKE RASH JUDGMENTS.
